Anton Kochinyan
Anton Ervandovich Kochinyan (Armenian: Անտոն Քոչինյան; 25 November 1913 - 5 April 1989, Yerevan) was a Soviet Armenian politician.
He was Chairman of the Council of Ministers from 1952 to 1966, and the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia from 1966 to 1974. He pleaded unsuccessfully with central government in Moscow for the unification of Karabakh with Armenia. He was succeeded by Karen Demirchyan in 1974.
